The MC100 SensorBox is a data logger that was specially developed for measuring value acquisition, e.g. in process control systems and energy management systems. It enables data to be acquired via various interfaces such as Modbus-TCP/RTU, M-Bus, KNX, SAIA S-Bus and OPC UA.
The MC100 SensorBox can read up to 50 loads. With the corresponding EDL Portal license, up to 1000 M-Bus-capable devices can be connected (via M-Bus gateways).
The MC100 SensorBox has a powerful data logger with integrated OpenVPN. This allows temperature sensors, analog sensors (e.g. pressure gauges, level gauges) as well as digital fault messages and Modbus or M-Bus meters (e.g. heat meters, gas meters, electricity meters, water meters) to be monitored remotely. The diverse interfaces enable various sensors and meters to be connected to the MC100 SensorBox.
The EDL portal is a user-friendly platform for monitoring, controlling and managing systems and buildings. It enables the visualization of measurement data via a cloud-based solution. The data is stored locally on the MC100 SensorBox and the EDL portal retrieves it via an encrypted internet connection.
Alarms and faults are transmitted directly to the portal and meter data and measured values are read from the MC100 SensorBox every 3 hours and stored in the database. Configuration is done via the web interface.
