For decades, D-SUB connectors – also known as D-Subminiature connectors or Sub-D connectors – have been indispensable as I/O connection elements and as system solutions within electronic applications. The name D-SUB comes from the D-shaped metal shell of the connector. D-SUB connectors are used in almost all user markets, from control and regulation technology to telecommunications and computer applications.
CONEC D-SUB connectors are available in five standardized housing sizes in the variants D-SUB Standard, D-SUB High Density, D-SUB Filter, D-SUB Combination, D-SUB Filter Combination and D-SUB hoods. The combination of different contact types creates opportunities to save installation space and costs in the interface area.
The CONEC Snaplock mounting type is offered as a quick-release system for common numbers of poles. Depending on the mounting type and number of poles, you can choose between the connection types Crimp, Wire-Wrap, Solder pin, Solder cup and IDC.
